Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery
For Memorial Day,
special arrangements have been made between Sollecito Landscaping Nursery and the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery administration for plants placed at gravesites:
- Within a week after Memorial Day (actual date is weather dependent) the 2-gallon and 3-gallon perennial plants & small flowering shrubs purchased at Sollecito Landscaping Nursery and placed at gravesites will be planted into the Strolling Memorial Garden adjacent to the cemetery grounds.
- Installation, at no charge, will be by Sollecito staff only. Customers may not plant their own plants into the Garden.
- Your memorial plant will become a permanent living memorial where all who visit the Cemetery will appreciate it.
- If you wish, arrangements can be made to plant larger trees or shrubs in the garden or for planting at a time other than Memorial Day. Installation fees will be determined on an individual basis.
Through the past several years, Sollecito Landscaping Nursery has had an ongoing commitment to the Veterans Cemetery through design, donation and maintenance of the 3-acre Strolling Memorial Garden. It is our privilege, and there is no finer group to honor than our veterans.
